Created over thousands of years, the river slowly carved away a deep gorge which, finaly collapsing in on itself, bacame the beautiful hidden valley that we call Sima Kade. A unique feature of the Witwatersrand berg the valley boasts untouched indigenous plant and animal life, forests, bush-veld, cliffs, rock-pools, a river and a picturesque view of the Magaliesburg.
Built over the past decade, the Sima Kade venues are the result of a careful, but deliberate, intersection of architecture, nature and human experience. The repeated use of stone from the valley floor, or locally sourced timber, contrasted with modern materials like glass and steel, combine to provide stylish, comfortable living spaces that blend in perfectly to the surroundings.
Enjoyed as an escape, a retreat, a home, a refuge or a return to nature, Sima Kade offers a unique experience for groups small and large. We aim to provide the adventure of being immersed in the bush, experiencing the outdoors, wildlife and different seasons while having all the nessecities, privacy, seclusion and comforts you need at your disposal.
